Glacier Peak Construction is a Reno-based general contractor providing commercial and residential construction services throughout Northern Nevada, along with select residential projects in California. Over the years, our company has grown by building strong relationships, taking on new opportunities, and expanding our capabilities to meet the needs of the clients we serve.
Our foundation began in commercial painting, where we worked with builders, property managers, developers, multifamily communities, and commercial property owners throughout the region. As those relationships developed, clients began bringing us into more areas of their projects, creating opportunities for us to learn, grow, and build experience across a wider range of construction.
Today, Glacier Peak Construction works on tenant improvements, commercial renovations, framing, drywall, residential remodeling, multifamily projects, and larger residential construction. While the scope of our work has expanded, our approach remains grounded in dependable work, clear communication, and strong working relationships.
Glacier Peak Construction’s transition from commercial painting into general construction happened naturally through the relationships we had already built with our clients. As those clients took on new projects and their needs expanded, they gave us opportunities to become involved in more areas of construction and continue growing alongside them.
Those opportunities encouraged us to invest in experienced people, expand our construction capabilities, and develop the systems needed to manage more involved scopes of work. What started with painting gradually grew into interior renovations, tenant improvements, framing, drywall, remodeling, multifamily projects, and residential construction.
That experience continues to shape how we approach projects today. We understand the individual trades involved in construction, but we also understand how those pieces need to come together. As a general contractor, our role is to coordinate that work, keep each phase moving in the right order, and remain accountable for the overall project.
Every project depends on the people who plan it, manage it, and complete the work in the field, which is why Glacier Peak Construction continues to invest in experienced crews and long-term working relationships.
We self-perform key portions of our projects, particularly within our established painting operations, while coordinating with trusted specialized subcontractors when needed. That combination gives us greater visibility into scheduling, workmanship, and how each phase of construction is progressing.
Our team brings practical construction experience to every project, helping us understand how different trades work together, respond to changing jobsite conditions, and keep work moving when adjustments are needed.
